I have been an avid letterboxer for many years but recently I haven’t been able to get down to Devon. However, I was pleased to see a Facebook community for letterboxing and joined up… but it’s moving slowly.

I walk on dartmoor a lot and see people find these boxes. I found one once up on Pew Tor, but I really don’t get it. Can we not enjoy the moor for what it is? This latest idea to link some kind of advert or cause to a letterbox is scary. Dartmoor now becomes a advertising medium? yuk.
